Sanela Prašović Gadžo

Journalist, politician (Bosna and Herzegovina)

Graduated in Journalism and Communications. She was a guest-lecturer in the domain of journalism, media and public relations for domestic and foreign educational institutions, political parties and companies. Currently attends the MA studies of Public Relations at the University in Mostar. Politician, formed journalist, editor, war reporter, author of documentaries, foreign correspondent, etc. She began her journalistic career in 1991 at SA3 Program and she worked as journalist until 2018. During the war, she was a war reporter at TVBIH. She won several awards both at home and abroad. Worked as PR for the Vice-President of the Federation of BIH, and as consultant and PR for the Central Bank of BIH, as well as advisor of Swedish Nordea. Worked at TVBIH and FTV. For the years she managed the TIM System production company and created and authored several series for BHT1: Interview20, Ekologika and Izazovi poljoprivrede. In 2018, she closed that journalistic chapter of her career and entered politics. She is a member of SBB and a delegate in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BIH, Committee for Information and a member of the Committee for Security. She is the mother of two daughters, Lana and Hana.
