A unique film-monument presents collective experience of suffering and death in the World War II in the territory of the Independent State of Croatia. Edited from over 450 hours of recorded testimonies, collected during four years of conducting interviews with 94 immediate witnesses, the film represents an excerpt from a huge documentary archive. The film story without narrator, historian or archival footage, transmits the silenced voices of victims to our time. Giving the victims a unique right to interpret their own suffering, this film is a farewell to a whole generation, thus becoming a monument dedicated to them by our generation.
