Political and cultural sociologist (Serbia)
Obtained her PhD from the University of California at San Diego, MA from the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, and a BA in Economics from the University of Novi Sad. As the recipient of Marie Sklodowska-Curie scholarship for project, works as the associate professor at the KU-University of Leuven, specialized in nationalism, intellectuals, social movements, gender, cinema and theater, and focused on the post-Yugoslav space. Her current project is dealing with Turkish aid for the reconstruction of cultural monuments and educational development in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia. Ana previously worked at the University of Glasgow, Aarhus University, Brown University and Fatih in Istanbul.
